UURelay is the iSTAR component responsible for additional data switching functions. When two communicating parties under iSTAR are unable to directly address each other, communication between them can instead be routed through deployed UURelays.
UURelays allow an iSTAR deployment to have improved routing over the internet and higher fault tolerance for network outages. Also supported is multi-link, allowing connections to two distinct service providers.
UURelays are managed through the same browser interface as all other iSTAR appliances.
