UURemoteSite is used to establish network connectivity between two different branches of an organization.
Using UURemoteSite, a branch location can establish the equivalent of low level connectivity to the central office and users will be able to utilize the remote network resources.
UURemoteSite is designed for users seeking very basic VPN functionality comparable to an IPSec solution, but with less special configuration of firewalls necessary.
In addition to a simple password authentication scheme, UURemoteSite supports the same authorization and authentication mechanisms as other UUPublishers.
